Fluorescent
Dispersion CT Series |
|
|
|
Aron CT
Dispersions are high solids, fluorescent pigment dispersion. This
product offers a bright
finely ground, high strength, fluorescent pigment particle with good
light fastness properties. These dispersions are suspended in water and suitable for use in water
based inks, coatings & emulsions. |
|
|
|
Fluorescent CT
Dispersion can have added advantage over pigments. |
|
• Non-dusting
• Smoother uniform printing/coating on the substrate
• Easy dispersion in medium
• Easier and uniform inter mixing of colors |

Product
Description |
|
CT series dispersion contains 55±5% solid content dispersed in water
and small amount of alkali soluble aqueous resin. CT dispersions are
free from
volatile organic compound. They are compatible with wide range of
aqueous systems.
Paste may require enough binding / curable resins to get desired
binding and fixation
on the surface of the substrate or enough fixers and curing process.
Additives
co-solvents and binders can influence the performance of the
dispersion. The effect
of these dispersions should be tested in the final application before
taking bulk
trials. |

Stability |
|
It is recommended that they should be protected from freezing and
elevated
temperatures wherever possible. These dispersions are stable to shear
and pH .
Temperature during manufacturing should be kept below
400C |
| |
Handling |
|
CT dispersions
are liquid products, which offer easy incorporation
into aqueous systems with minimal mixing. These products are not
compatible
with non-aqueous formulations.
|
|
|
|
CT dispersions should be mixed before
use to ensure homogeneity.
The pH should be adjusted to a minimum of 8.0 before use with other
ingredients
to avoid shocking the ink or coating systems. |
|
|
Precautions |
|
• Do not keep the paste in open condition as surface may dry faster
and form a skin on top.
• Stir / shake well before use
• Store in a air tight container in cool place
• Recommended to maintain pH 7.5 – 8.5 for better stability
in formulation |
|
|
Safety |
|
CT dispersions are for industrial use only. Avoid contact with skin
and eyes. Do not swallow.
Use appropriate respirator if the product forms mists. Please refer
MSDS for more information. |
|
|
Light fastness |
|
CT dispersions can exhibit good light fastness for indoor
applications, however exterior light fastness is limited. The
users should contact their own tests to determine if the use of
the CT dispersions will meet their light fastness requirements. |
|
|
Viscosity Control |
|
Formulations based on CT dispersion are designed to be thinned
with water only. Formulations may tolerate small quantities of
alcohols but level should be kept below 5%. Testing should be
conducted when solvents are used to determine their affects on
the final application formula. |
