Color Index Numbers

Color Index numbers are given to individual pigments and are another way for users to identify the chemical nature of their raw materials. However, as fluorescent pigments are made from combination of dyes in a resin matrix, they do not qualify as “ Pigments” according to the Society of Dyers & Colorists, and therefore are not included under Color index system.

International Standards

As fluorescent pigments do not qualify as “ Pigments” according to the society of dyers and colorists, they do not have any unique international standards for shade and strength unlike non-fluorescent/conventional pigments. Every manufacturer will have their own standards for shade and strength. Our guarantee is limited to the consistent quality specified with our products.
